Every month the Parish Pastoral Council, together with the pastor, meets to discuss issues of relevance and concern to out parish community. The Parish council serves as “the eyes and ears” of the community, serving as a liaison between the Pastor and the wider parish community. The pastor relies on the counsel, advice, and insights of the council in attending to the work of serving and leading the parish.
In order for the Parish Pastoral Council to be effective in its role, it is important that our parishioners know the members of the council, and feel free to communicate their hopes, concerns, joys, and challenges as members of Saint Mary Parish. The Parish Council members are eager to listen to your thoughts on how we can grow together as a vital community, giving witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
