These gatherings are meant to explore the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism. Together, we seek to come to a deeper appreciation of the commitment families make to their children through the Sacrament and look at some ways through which we can cultivate Christian values within our families and homes.

If you are expecting a child or the parents of a newborn and plan to have your child baptized, we invite you to join with us. Please contact Laurene Hirko at 508.278.2226 or at lhirko @ stmaryuxbridge.org if you are planning on attending one of the upcoming gatherings or if you have any questions. Godparents are most welcome to join with us, if they are able. Please remember that Godparents must present a letter from their respective pastors attesting to their active participation in the life of the Church.

Dates of upcoming gatherings are as follows: Friday, August 5, 2011, Friday, October 7, 2011, Friday, December 2, 2011 and Friday, February 3, 2012. The gatherings are held from 6:30-8:30pm.

Through this annual campaign, the Church of Worcester remains able to assist those experiencing hardships, provide hope, comfort and counsel to those in crisis, furnish funds necessary for the formation of future priests and deacons for our parish and inspire our children and adults to embrace our Catholic faith through programs of religious education.

The Saint Mary Parish weekly Bible Study meets Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00pm in the parish hall. Everyone is welcome. Participants are invited to bring a Bible. Bibles will also be provided for those needing one. The focus of our gathering is exploring the Gospel of Luke and applying the gospel to our daily lives in today’s world. No prior experience in scripture study is required, only open hearts and open minds!

Registration for Religious Education/Faith Formation for the 2011-2012 school year has begun. All our catechetical programs will begin in September.

Programs for children preparing for First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, as well for children with special needs, are available.

Registration forms are available at the entrances to the church, in the Faith Formation Office, or may be printed by clicking the link below. They may be returned by mail, dropped off at the Faith Formation Office, or returned through the Sunday offertory basket. Youth Ministry Event!
Attention Youth in Grades 7 – 12

On Sunday, September 18, from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm we will be having an Ice Cream Social followed by the hit inspirational movie, Soul Surfer.

Come join us for a fun and prayerful night of fun where you may meet new friends and see some old ones too!

We will be having many more events throughout the year, so please watch for the posters, emails, and Bulletin for reminders!

Youth Ministry Event!
Attention Youth in Grades 7 – 12

On the last weekend of October starting at 6:30 pm, Father Steven will be serving dinner at the Rectory!! Afterwards, we will be going to the Parish Hall for Pumpkin Carving!!

In November, we will be volunteering time at The People First Food Pantry of Uxbridge to give thanks for what we have in our lives.

And on December 28 starting at 6:00 pm, we will be having a Christmas Pizza Party followed by a “Yankee Swap.”

All assemblies will be on Saturdays from 9am – 12pm,
Sundays from 3:30-6:30pm and
Mondays from 5:30 – 8:30pm
(all assemblies with begin and end in the Parish Hall)
