In Service To One. In Service To All.
Welcome and thank you for visiting our web site. Let me tell you something about what we do as a Knight of Columbus. First and foremost we are a fraternal organization, dedicated to GOD and Country, family and to THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY. AS a brotherhood we work in unity to achieve monies in order to help needy local and worldwide. All this is done because we are a brotherhood dedicated to CHARITY. You may ask “where do we get the funds to support all we do”?
We run many revenue generating events during the year , needed to accomplish our needs. Donations we receive at times are a great help. Some of the fund raisers we run are: Yard Sales, Bake Sales, Ham & Bean Suppers, Breakfast, Meat Raffles, Chicken Barbeques ETC.
Now that you know something about us we are looking for Good Catholic Men to join our Council. We will be proud to have you as a member of the KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS, COUNCIL 1562, Uxbridge, MA.
We meet one night a month from September to June. You are not required to be at all meetings. We realize that your family and job are a priority. Even at that we would be honored to have you join us. For info on becoming a Knight, you can call:

"These Men They Call Knights"
The Knights of Columbus began in the basement of St. Mary's Church in New Haven Conn. in 1882, when Father Michael J. McGivney* called together a small group of pioneering Catholic laymen and founded a society designed to provide financial assistance for the widows and orphans of its members. Father McGivney's original idea grew quickly into an organization of Catholic men and their families dedicated to promoting the concepts of Faith, Family and Fraternity.
Today, there are over 1.7 million members in 13 countries in 12,000 local units called councils.
* Fr. McGivney is in the process of Beautification which is the step before Sainthood.
